We're excited to share some significant changes to how we handle advertising on Uncrowned Empire. Understanding the importance of a smooth and enjoyable user experience, we've revamped our approach to split our ads into two categories: Advertisements and Sponsors.

Advertisements

These are primarily AdSense ads and are open to a wide range of advertisers. Our key update here is that all these advertisements will now be invisible to our registered users. That's right – once you're logged in, you won't see any of these ads. We understand how ad blockers can be a hassle, especially with platforms like YouTube and Google, so we're making it simpler for you. Just register for a free account and enjoy an ad-free experience on our site!

Sponsors

Taking a step towards more premium partnerships, we have introduced 'Sponsors'. These ads will be displayed exclusively in the sidebar & footer. This approach is designed to highlight our sponsors in a way that respects your content-viewing experience, ensuring that these partnerships are visible without disrupting your browsing.

We believe this new system strikes the perfect balance – supporting our site while keeping your experience as our top priority. Say goodbye to the adblocker battles and hello to a cleaner, more focused browsing experience on Uncrowned Addiction and Uncrowned Gaming.

When it comes to website monetization, Adsense is my preferred method. If you have decent traffic, you can earn through adsense. I use Adsense on my three forums. I don't earn much though but hopefully, when my forums start seeing organic traffic, earnings will improve.
Do you earn well through adsense? What about sponsorships, how do you get sponsors for your community?

AdSense is okay for me. The sponsorship program is actually not even released yet. Essentially most of my outgoing content is articles and guides and that is the main driver of my websites. So in this sense, most of the views are from guests who will keep my main focus on AdSense for profits. Our forums are really for more dedicated users and act as a hub for our other content. So with this side of the site, I do not wish to profit off these users and want to grow the communities into actual communities.

It is a long-term goal more than a short-term revenue change if that makes sense.

True, revenue generation on a website is a long-term goal. You cannot make money instantly from your website. You need a lot fo traffic on your site in order to generate revenue. and building traffic takes a long time. If you are running a forum, you also need a lot of daily activities. Without building a vibrant community, earning from forums is impossible.
