Thanks! I do know that new projects in the network will not launch with a dedicated forum until the site itself has become much more popular. In hindsight I probably should have done that with the gaming site, but now we are committed 😅I admire your passion and hard work Uncrowned. Why do you say that about holding off on creation of a forum and not starting sites same time? Thanks! Workload and focusing the workload. Forums are quite the effort to get started and keep going, that isn't much of a secret. So when trying to start a content based website, the forum side can funnel a lot of your time away from the actual content you were planning. Now times that by 2 and a lot of the core aspects of my sites were certainly placed on the back burner to keep the community growing. In fact the gaming website really sat idle for over a year while all effort was placed on the forum, so it is a struggle. Why do you say that about holding off on creation of a forum and not starting sites same time?
Have you considered that uncrownedaddiction and uncrownedgaming may not be the best domain names for seo results?Workload and focusing the workload. The main problem that comes with that is organic growth. My sites in particular depend of SEO from the content sections to grow the forums, so lacking in content while trying to grow the forums is kind of a backwards approach and isn't ideal for a starting website like mine.
Uncrowned Gaming is generally in the top 15 ranks on average with many terms for Call of Duty being in the top 5. So it does pretty well with SEO as it directly punches with the likes of IGN and PC Gamer on many of the guide sections. Addiction on the other hand was not great, but not for the reasons you might think. It does okay for SEO, but running paid ads are a nightmare. Thankfully Addiction isn't exactly meant to thrive, so it works out in the end.Have you considered that uncrownedaddiction and uncrownedgaming may not be the best domain names for seo results?
