How can twitter help market a website or product? How do you use it?

I've never used twitter to Market anything of my own. I don't use Twitter at all for anything else either.

I just make a post about whatever I'm trying to market. It hasn't worked all too well, but I can't say that it hasn't worked at all either.

Twitter is a very helpful marketing tool, you have to agree. Along with Facebook and not so much Google+ all kinds of social media is a great tool to use for any marketing purposes. @LunarScorpio, it may not have worked too well, but any marketing is better than no marketing right?

I have never seen any real results from using twitter- I suppose it's better for bigger websites/businesses though.

You wont if you have a small Twitter page obviously Sam. ALl you have to do though is pay someone who has a few thousand followers to tweet your message a couple times and hey ho, instant win. It has and does help to break out the money to get the ball rolling Twitter wise.
