To close to sell?

If you ever get bored with your forum, would you prefer to sell it to new owners and give them a chance to revive your forum? If I had to choose between selling or closing, I would simply close it as I cannot see someone else running my forum. All the hard work I put into it, and someone just takes it in the plate, just won't happen. But rest assured, this will never happen as I will dedicate all my time to this forum.

I think selling will be a better option. I will give reasons: first of all, you will recover your investment, or even make profit, secondly, something that you made continues to live and that is a great satisfaction.

Laughs, I'll never allow my hard work to be enjoyed by another webmaster even if I'm out of finance to run it. I'll prefer closing it and informing my forum members earlier before closure and clearing all outstanding debts. But i will put hard work in order not to close it, cos i know my active forum posters won't be happy with me if i do so, LoL.

This is a dicey and a temptating question , but normally nobody want to see his or her hard work go done the drain, so to me selling is not an option because if I decided to sell and later realised the forum site is doing well, I will never forgive myself for selling it for a webmaster, so the best option is to close it down for good.

I would prefer to sell it as it is sad when you close the forum as it not only upset you but also members who put their hard work and time on forum. By selling you gain some financial benefits and carry on the website too.

To close or to sell the forum site. Each has pros and cons, Selling pros: earn money, cons whether the reputation of the new admin can be trusted and making the forum site will be great and maybe we will regret selling the forum site if we find it has become famous and big. To close pros: we don't have to think about what will happen to the members, Cons: we won't get any money because the site is closed.

If it happens that my forum is not productive as I thought of before opening it, because of all ha d work have put into it,I would refer sell to the new owner and never look back again, because I won't want to waste all my hard work go just like that without no gain from it. So the best thing for me to do is to sell and never look back to the forum.

I also would not like to sell my business if I were to grow tired, which of course too would not happen, I would rather find new ways to make it work. I believe in bizdustry and it's management to keep running.

When I was running forums, I did not sell, I just closed down. Since the forum did not have a lot of content and too many members I though it would never get buyers

It will be really be kind of awkward to see a forum you once owned being run by another person and maybe even more efficient and properly too.

I think it would come down to what the forum was and what it meant to me. Also, price would be a huge factor. If I couldn't run a site anymore but was offered a large amount of cash to part with it I'd probably sell, however if there wasn't enough money on offer I may just close it to prevent it being taken over and run poorly and giving a bad reputation to others.

If I were the owner of this great forum, I would never sell or close this forum because I believe that Bizdustry has a really great future. I would put more effort into this forum and try to make it better than before. I would not close this foum because this forum would have been good for me and other members as well who are part of this great community.
