Some people say live support is the way to go. Nonetheless, such a system can drain the finances of a small-time hosting company. In that case, tickets would be the better option. However, though, that method, obviously, is a lot slower and that could annoy many visitors.

Anyway, in my case, tickets don't annoy me. Do they annoy you?

Most times I prefer a live support because I get my reply instantly without having to come back later. In addition, live support is mote like I am seeking my friends advice, so it is usually easier than a support ticket.

I think live support is better because you do not have to wait for too long to solve your issue. It you raise a ticket, you will have to wait for some to respond, and then you send your response and the process is long.

IN the beginning, I used to submit tickets and wait for the staff to respond. These days, I use live char and get my problem fixed in 5-10 minutes. namecheap, my host offers love chat support.

if the site has live support and a specific schedule, then be sure to respond faster than a ticket. if not, the ticket is the only option. of course, if he doesn't have people hired for something like that and only he takes care of it, it will take ... it's not so easy to answer and help 20-30-40 tickets every day.
