Think Sony PlayStation will make any acquisitions like Xbox did?

When Xbox bought out Bethesda and Activision, it made me wonder what PlayStation and Nintendo were thinking. I think Nintendo will be just fine, as they mostly focus on their own games. But, Xbox took a lot of games away from Sony with their recent acquisitions. Do you think with this news, that Sony will eventually buy up some more studios themselves? Or will they focus more on building out more exclusive games from their end?
