There was a strong nuclear threat after 9/11. At least, that's what the media was telling us. It never came to be. Do you feel it's because it didn't exist or because the US fought back? Anyway, once W. Bush was out, you never heard about terrorism again, and that was strange. In fact it seemed like that between the end of the Iraq War and the Ukraine War, there was no real threat from anything.
