I'm not against people selling forum posts. I want to make that clear.

However, I'm a copywriter and a business guy. I know the importance of social proof when you're trying to make a sale.

Forum post sellers lack social proof.

And I think that's why they don't get as many post gigs as they could get.

How do you fix that?

Provide examples of your topics and posts. If you say you post high quality content, prove it to me with links to other forums showcasing topics or posts you've created that resulted in higher or long-term engagement.

Do that and I bet you get more paid gigs.

Seeing proof will spark emotions. It's a big part of copy and selling things.

I bet if I started a paid posting service (I don't plan to, LOL), I could show most of my posts and likely get hired for something every day. I'm not bragging there. I just make sure that I post content that is valuable 9 times out of 10. I take a lot of pride in what I post. I've been told that people love to see my name on their forum because they know I love to post a lot and post good topics. It's all about reputation development.

I just wanted to post this idea and see what you all think about it!

Most of the consistent posters who offer paid posting are fairly well known like @Ja sa bong or @Nomad or @Shortie, so their reputation speaks for themselves. With that said, having a portfolio of prior posts and content will always help you to give prospective buyers a chance to verify your experience and writing level.

I think most paid posters have established their reputation and provided enough social proof by consistently using the same username and also avatar in some cases. I think forum owners who hire paid posters can easily find out this. The major issues I see with with paid posters is even when we post voluntarily, people think we are doing it for money. :D
