The .info domain extension

I've always liked that one. I've also made some sites with it. It can makes an interesting combo with any word like say, computer.info or doctor.info.

.info has long been a sad case of being used as a dumping ground for websites because it was often cheaper than .com etc. - there was a time I had hope for .info but I don't think I've seen a legit .info in years.

Sonic Retro, a Sonic the Hedgehog fan site uses a .info for their wiki, that's usually where I'd see the domain name being used most of the time. Now of course there is the .wiki domain, but it's definitely more expensive.

I’ve got one for my company but only because someone wanted to purchase it. Seeing I own rights to the .be one, they were forced to inform me. They offered it for 100 Euro, but I registered it myself for only 12 Euro.
