One of my favorite Halloween movies that I have to watch each year is called The Halloween Tree. It was released on Cartoon Network in 1993. It's based on a book by Ray Bradbury. I love that it discusses the beginning of Halloween or similar holidays for different cultures!

12 years old and still going strong as a kid

I believe the narrator who speaks at 0:37 sounds like the author Ray Bradbury himself, one of his few works specifically aimed at a young audience. You are missed Ray, hope your sharing stories with Poe and Dickens.
