How much time do you spend on your forum? How much time do you think should be put into a forum to make it successful?

Well currently I am spending say about 6-8 hours on my forum, moderating and having my forum promoted in other forums.

To make a forum successful, I believe a few hours daily is necessary. Very less can be done in those few hours so the least a forum owner could do is to dedicate at the very least 3 hours every day adding new things, advertising and posting on the community.

You should spend 1-2 hours minimum on your forum. If your forum provides services definitely more.
