Subtitles : Yes or No?

If you're watching movies, do you like using subtitles even when the movie is produced with English language? If it's a movie that's not English, it will be understandable to use subtitles. My friend considers subtitles a distraction but I love using it to watch my movies.

Sometimes you are in a public place. Using something like a kit is not preferable so the video should contain subtitles.

I never use subtitles. I cannot read very quickly and can't often keep up with them. I like to hear the voice of the characters, even if I miss some phrases they say. I have a really bad memory anyways, so it's like I forget half of the show the next day.

I don't use subtitles because sometimes I'm doing other things such as being online or drawing or doing my crafts. I don't want to have to constantly watch a screen to know what's happening. I prefer English although some of those types of voices are really creepy sounding.

Sometime if i really want to get into the detail of a movie and do not want to miss anything flow,i will make sure i use the subtitle.

I put them on when I'm multitasking, and sometimes just when the speech is a little muffled or the actors are talking too fast. I enjoy it and makes me continue to pay attention.
