Starting a drop shipping business in 2024

I've never really considered doing drop shipping, but I am starting to more and more these days. The idea of having a site of my own where I can just list items for sale and some other party handles the packaging, shipping, and all that. I like idea of not having to do any work aside from marketing my site out to the masses so I can draw in purchases. Has anyone started their own drop shipping site? Have you had success with it?

I tried dropshipping business in the past. Did I make money? Well, I managed to sell a few items but I was far from making any profits. But then I received an offer from a buyer to acquire my site and I sold the site for a good amount. I have no plans for starting a dropshipping business in 2024.
