Special Virtual Events for your sites

Has anyone here done special virtual events for your sites? Not anything like a movie night or hangout with the community, but more of a massive event that can draw in outside users. Maybe a festival, or some stage event. I think it would be cool to host a virtual event that is seen all over the place. But in the end, it supports the site.

I have never done this on any of my forums, however, hosting a webinar on my forums has been in my mind for some time. I want to host a webinar on my forum and offer special training to the participation related to business, investment and finance. I am not an expert and I plan to invite experts to talk in the program
