I remember watching that moment in the news, which was really touching and heartbreaking. I have family living in Israel, and I remember how much I was worrying about them when I couldn't reach them.

It's heartbreaking to hear about the tragic loss of Maia and Rina Dee. My thoughts are with their family during this incredibly difficult time.

I understand the argument of some preachers who say Israel is for the Jews. I also hear arguments that Israel is more modern, culturally speaking (women's rights etc.), and, hence, deserves to rule over Palestine. Nonetheless, though, the Israelis come across as bullies and I'm not sold on always forcing western values, and I'm not convinced on the Christian argument, seeing that the Israeli Jews are not Christians.

Anyway, of course, I am saddened over any death in war, generally speaking, but we need to look the causes of the war.
