Someone trying to claim your domain name?

Has anyone ever tried to claim the domain name you own as theirs? What I mean by that is this, is your domain name part of their business name and they think they have rights to it?

Years ago, I remember some domains couldn't be used if they were related to the big companies of those names or you could get sued.

This kind of fraud is reputable some people even just host a domain name like yours like for example adding an r like bizdustrry or adding an s like bizdusstry so you did not take care that this is fake one and not original website (just an example) or could claim being part of team while not. Fraud is reputable.

Facebook is not just a word, it is a trademark as well, therefore, you cannot register a domain with Facebook in it. I see some people intentionally try to register domains that use the name of popular brands so that they can sell back these domains to these companies. I don't use this kind of strategy and I have never been in a situation where someone claimed my domains as their own.

A friend of mine ran a site that another person copied completely. The only thing that was slightly different was the items that were being sold. He had the ".net" version and the guy that had the .com was tricking people into believing he was the one that ripped him off. They ended up going to court over it.
