Society Becoming Softer as Things Get Tougher

With rent and food at a all-time high, its a rough time to be alive, yet western society encourages softness in public. Is this really helping the situation? Of course, I'm not saying sensitivity is wrong, but, as in another thread, maybe it should be private.

Oh yeah, that has been pretty bad. Especially with people airing their dirty laundry on social media.
