Do you use social media to help boost your sites traffic? Personally, I would use it if I had a forum just because social media is THE way to interact with more people and your users personally isn't it?

Sure, you won't get a lot of traffic through it unless you are big, but it is a big tool that we all should be aware of!

Facebook - fb.me/coolfact ~8000 Fans!

I have a random page in FB with ~100,000 Fans!

Every now and then it will bring traffic!

With 800 million people on it Hashif Im sure it is one of the greatest! I can't personally wait for the next big social media giant though!

Ever since I started building websites, I also started creating social media pages for my websites, mostly on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. Some of my social pages have decent number of followers, so I get traffic from social pages. However. social media traffic has only worked for my blogs. I have not been able to bring traffic or activities on my forums through social pages.
