Soccer in 2023

What teams do you like? Who did you support in championship games?

Have you played or are playing now? What position was it? Were you good? Was there any notable wins or stuff that came close?

I tend to hear what the scores are in the real match at the end of the day ;P

I really only watch the world cup. Being in the US, soccer never real got popular... Miami's signing of Messi helped make them popular and they sell out their away games. (I imagine home too but not sure.) In order for MLS to be competitive they definitely need a few more stars, even if they are aging players.

Surprisingly, a lot of kids in the US play soccer at a young age and then give it up and move on to other sports (or no sports). It's cheap, easy, a good source of exercise, and a very easy game to teach and learn. I played until I was 12... and I usually played Mid-Field or Forward.
