Economics is one of the most important and it is one of the most interesting field. It allows you to study and analyse various different aspects related to finance. So, should you pursue it? Is it a good idea to get a degree in economics in order to understand financial matters in a much better way?

I love economics as a field of study. I sincerely would not pass a chance to study economics. It is the science of decision making. If you are a little bit sound in economics, you would easily make financial decisions based on established facts.

Well, if you love economics and you would like to pursue a degree, then i would suggest you to study economics at some college or university. You could pursue a master's in Economics.

I did economics for two years as one of my minors in tge university. I have to say I enjoyed their analysis with graphs and functions. Then, there was a course called Econometrics. The course had to do with forecasting. Don't get it twisted, Economics is full of complex mathematics. Calculus is like a normal thing for an Economics student.

Having a degree in economy is good as due to the versatility of the discipline, you can work in various organizations meaning you would not have a had time getting a job.

My teachers who taught me business, finance and investment did not have a business and did not have any investment portfolios or had ever financed any companies. However, a lot of entrepreneurs I know do not have degrees in business, investment and finance.

I am a student of commerce. I have studied accounting and many other things as well. I have also studied arts as well. However, I have never practically applied my knowledge.

That is the major problem with getting a degree. People are enrolling in colleges and universities but they are concerned only on getting certificates, they are not concerned with learning the subject.

I have seen so many economists who don't know or understand how to manage their finances. It is not about getting a degree but being financially intelligent. Financial intelligence is not taught in any college.

Well it all depends on your passion or course you are good on. For me studying economics and you are a good business man or woman, it will be very good and excellent choice.

Actually the study of economics can gives you a better foundation in attaining a degree in economics because it will equipped you with all the strategies that can help you achieved your goals.

Studying economics could definitely help people. However, people must practically apply that knowledge as well in order to make sure that they benefit out of it.

I'm not really sure if I understand exactly what you're trying to say because from my point of understanding, I believe that studying economics and also getting a degree in economics is definitely the same thing.

Economics is a great field of study and the people who are studying in the scores are one of those people who are providing solutions to the financial and economic aspects of our lives

The knowledge of economics is important to an entrepreneur or anyone that would be associated with the business world and money in any way.

So getting a degree in economics is good and would play a vital role in giving the individual an informed approach towards finance management and generation.

Economics was one of the courses i wanted to study in the university but I changed my mind along the line. When I go to discover a lot of other things I have passion for I abandoned it.

this is one of the things i am advocating for as well, you can not become a better person because of the paper you have in your hand, as i believe that certificates are over rated.

Paper certificates are completely overrated. That's why most organizations are moving aways from making it a priority. We are moving to that point that we need to see what you can actually do beyond your certificates..

Economics is a good course of study. Infact, it's ranked among the best courses that one can study in University. But for some reason, I don't have passion for it. I know economics teach one to a business owner and all of that that but I don't like it much.

It is a good degree to pursue as you can create a good career in finance. There are so many companies and individuals who would like to hire a financial expert. Just make sure to take your learning seriously and gain all the required skills relevant to the market.
