Should you invest cash in zinc?

Zinc is one of the best commodity out there. Zinc is used to coat metals and zinc can be used in construction as well. This material protects metals from rust and other things that can cause damage. So, is it a great commodity when it comes to investing money?

I've never considered investing in zinc. I'm not familiar with anything about it or how to start investing in it. There are a lot to things to invest in which is why I'm not surprised zinc is getting investors attention.

Well, I do not know much about Zinc, but thanks to this thread I have looked for some graphs on this commodity and its trend seems quite bullish in the long term, it rose in a relative short period of time from about $ 1450 to $ 4400 in the last bull market, now it has dropped quite a bit, but I think it can be a good long-term investment in a well diversified portfolio of commodities.
