Duplexes are great options to buy up, since you can rent out to two different tenants and make money from both. But there's always the idea of combining the duplex into one big house, but then you can only rent it out to one family versus two. But, that's a choice you have to make. Would you rather have a duplex where you can move in two tenants or families? Or would you rather build it into one massive home and charge more for rent or outright sell it for more.
