I was debating on this. Should I actually go out and take pictures relevant to my posts or is it okay to use ones I find online? I don't have a great camera but my phone takes good pictures.

I don't see the issue with using the ones online but if your site is very niche selective, it may pay off to use your own.

If you do well at making pictures, I'd say go for it! I think it's awesome when people do that.

However, I'm sure that can get to be a lot of work in the long run. Not everything is close by, timing could be wrong, weather could be mean to you. You don't want to delay your posts for that, so you could use something like pixabay for when that happens.

You can use images which can be found in websites, but be careful with their copyrights. :)

That is what I am thinking! What if I have an awesome post and can't get the pictures I need... Well I guess I can do a mix of both yeah? Pixabay I am assuming is like photopin? I use them now.

Niche selective? What do you mean by this?

If you have a very selective niche like one for some local or singular. Like instead of NBA or Basketball, you have a smaller niche select forum or blog for a local basketball high school team. Get it?
