Should I bother with a top 10 site?

I was considering starting up a top 10 list site. I would include pretty much everything from tech to humor. I was thinking of doing this but I fear it would be time wasted because other sites are already established. Thoughts?

I wouldn't because there are so many of those already.

I actually prefer constant contact. It seems a lot more user-friendly and cost-effective.

These sites only do good when you use them on social media and most of the information is so overly used online already no one cares.
