Should all businesses raise their pay to meet with rising costs of living?

Should all businesses raise their employees pay to meet with the rising costs of living? Like with food, clothing, and other necessities? I know the minimum wage for example has rarely gone up in some states, and yet the cost of living keeps getting higher and higher. The cost of a house is nearly unattainable for most people, so most people, have to find places to rent. And even rent in some places is too high.

So, should all businesses gradually raise their employees pay to help them survive better in the coming future?

There are a lot of businesses that are struggling hard to survive, can these businesses increase the pay structure fo their workers? If the workers are not satisfied, they are free to go to high paying companies but I do not think it is appropriate to force business to raise pay structure.
 
It is going to be difficult for businesses to make those type of salary increase for their staff. Remember that cost of production is increasing when inflation is on the rise. So, some businesses will be struggling to even survive talk more of asking them to pay more salaries. So, it is a dicey situation in most states.
 
In my opinion, businesses are also struggling as well. So, when it comes to increasing the pay of workers, this should only be done in a way that it's not going to over stretch the business and burn it out. The profits that the business makes should be the deciding factor.

Majority of the businesses are struggling due to bad economical conditions that have been affecting the business world for a really long time. This is why many businesses may have a really hard time raising the salary of their employees. However, there are many businesses out there that have the ability to offer raise, but they still never raise the pay due to their selfish reasons.

This is actually what I was trying to point out because it is very obvious that most businesses are struggling as well which is why they should only be doing things that are going to benefit the business as well but this doesn't change that the workers are equally suffering as a result of the economy too, so they need something to at least help them to in their own situations.

There are many companies that not only do not increase the pay of their employees, but they also never offer any kind of allowances either to their employees. This is one of the hardest things an employee could experience. Many lower-level employees never receive any kind of allowances at all.

Well, in most cases entrepreneurs are always very stingy when it comes to paying their workers very well and not to talk about just increasing their payment because of the economic condition that the country is passing through.

This is the reason why some of their workers are not always loyal to their brand because once they see a better alternative, they are going to quit their job and move to the other alternative that pays them better.
 
The reason why we experience so much rise in human necessities is because of government policies. There is need to review salaries within a certain period in order to meet up with inflation. But my opinion is that instead of increasing the salary of employees, government should work on there policies in order to reduce the cost of living. Increasing salaries would not address cost of living rather it meant reduce it a bit but not for a long run.

Unfortunately with what inflation have been doing, there's no way the government can do anything when it comes to working on their policies to reduce the cost of living. It cannot be achieved when there's still massive inflation. They need to work on the happening inflation before they can work on policies to reduce the cost of living.

The funny thing is that most of these workers are complaining for the pay structure where they are working to be increased knows very well that they cannot even be able to get another job with another company because of the way things are right now. So, it is always going to be in their best interest to manage what they are getting until things begin to normalise.

This is a very big problem that employees have been facing on daily basis and it's something that is not being addressed because workers have always been at the receiving end of bad treatment of their employees. It doesn't seem like the government care to do anything about it because they don't even want to provide job opportunities as well.

Recently fuel prices have increased a lot. The value of international currencies is decreasing. However, the rate of inflation does not seem to go down. This also involves an increase in the price of products such as sugar, flour, cooking oil, etc. Under such kind of circumstances, the salaries of people should increase.

This is a very big problem in my country because we always had electricity problems which makes it very difficult to have steady power supply. This makes a lot of businesses to depend on making use of fuel to run their generators. Now, fuel is very expensive which adds up to cost of production making everything to be very expensive with the inflation that is even going on.

A nation that is having challenges with electricity will definitely find it difficult to adjust to changes especially one that has to do with what is happening in the business sector. One can't compare the cost of running a diesel generator to that of using an electricity to operate the business.

This is the reason why it is always very challenging for those businesses that are depending on running constant generator to be able to carry out their operational activities, it always makes their products or services to be very expensive compared to those that are making use of electricity to operate their businesses.
 
In general, most business experts would say that it's important for businesses to consider raising pay to keep up with the rising cost of living. Employees who don't see their wages increasing in line with inflation may become dissatisfied and may seek employment elsewhere. Of course, it's important to consider the financial health of the business when making these decisions. There are also other ways to show appreciation for employees besides pay raises, such as flexible schedules, opportunities for advancement, and recognition for good work.
 
I think it varies from business to business. Not every business is making enough money. Either they are in their initial struggling phase or facing some downfall after huge success.

So we can't say that every business owner should increase their employee's salary.

But if their business is growing fast and their products/services are highly priced, they must also take care of their employees, because that's only possible because of their contributions to the growth of the business.
