Shopify is undoubtedly one of the most popular platforms to build business websites, e-commerce sites, and online stores. Despite being a fantastic platform, Shopify might not be the best fit for every business. Here are few Shopify alternatives worth exploring:
Wordpress with coocommerce
Big Commerce
Wix
Squarespace
Magento
Drupal Commerce
Joomla eCommerce

Joomla eCommerce and Magento have been very good alternatives for me with Shopify hovering over as the king. Most of the thing that I can do on Shopify can equally be carried out on both Joomla eCommerce and Magento with even more chances of better success. The most important thing is for you to work with what's going to give you better results.

Shopify is a website builder and one of the major drawbacks of using shopify is you do not have control over your website files and database. Joomla, Magento, and Drupal are open source content management specifically built for businesses, but you need moderate level of programming skills to use thgese programs

I messed around with Wix years ago and had some fun with it. I think it is a great option for someone that wants to just drag and drop everything into place without messing with code but I prefer to just use Woo.

Wix is good but the only problem with Wix is it is very expensive, you have to pay $29 for the basic ecommerce site if you want to use Wix. I find woocommerce better because there is nothing you cannot do with woocommerce.

Having good programming skills is something that is going to make it very easy for you to make use of those website builders and get the best out of them. Without that skill or knowledge, it will be very difficult for you to manipulate and exploit it to your advantage in being successful in your e-commerce business.

You've shared some great alternatives to Shopify for business websites and e-commerce. It's essential to find the platform that aligns best with specific business needs.
