How do you perform SEO for your site?

Do you submit articles, put links in directories.... What do you do?

I usually structure my URLs to be SEO friendly and I try to be smart about keywords and things alike.

I don't normally do a ton of SEO work because I'm still not that knowledgeable in the field.

I have tried to do a little SEO, but it's REALLY boring work....

It is... It's boring and pretty difficult and it takes a lot of work to get good results, unless of course you turn to blackhat SEO but, haha, that's bad, right?

It's hard work, but in the end it is all worth it surely? Blackhat SEO is good in the short term I suppose but in the long run, it isn't really viable in my opinion. Although, it is bad like Alex said!
