A lot of people believe that if you want to become successful in business, you will have to see what products are in demand and sell the products that people want to buy. I think this strategy works only for small businesses. Big businesses can create their own products and sell what they want to sell. They create interest in their product by excessive promotion and marketing.

Successful marketing also involves how one can present and give reasons why their product & services is profitable/considerable to it users. This is what makes some competitors of the same niche, product/services surepass another.

One notable example is Apple Inc. Their marketing strategy emphasizes the sleek design, innovative features, and user-friendly interface of their products.

These days companies are selling what they want, they are not selling what people actually want. Companies feed into the mind of consumers that they should have this product otherwise their life will be wasted. FOMO or Fear Of Missing Out is a good marketing tactics.
