Sectional or global?

When hiring moderators for your forum, do you ever hire section moderators or just hire a couple of global moderators to do the job? Which do you think is the better idea? Why?

Till now whom all I have hired are all global moderators. As my forum is increasing I am planning to assign all the moderators to specific forums as they can concentrate better. I think sectional moderators will handle the job more efficiently as they have less forums to concentrate. This is the case for large forums.

If the forum is small then global mods will do the job.

I hire Global moderators because I think they will handle the job more efficiently and they will be able to control my forum on a much wider scale.

It depends on the situation, of what my forum needs, to be crucially honest. In the early days of my forum, I hired sectional moderators to start off with and if I was impressed with their work they were promoted to global moderator, that way I know they are the perfect person for the job. However in the past, I have also hired global moderators, if I can trust the person.
