Statistics show that warm audiences are much easier to convert than a cold audience. That's why retargeting is very important when you run ads.

When you place an ad initially, visitors may not buy but later on they may show interest and thats why it's necessary to retarget them.

Facebook has made this easier by placing a tracking code on your website called Facebook Pixel.

A cookie is being placed on visitor's computers when they visit your website or landing page and Facebook will subsequently show them your adverts which makes them warm audiences.

Also custom audience can be created from this pixel as it mirrors your website visitors which then gives you the ideal audience your business needs.

If you have an online store, and if you are advertising your products, or store in general, through facebook, you need to be very accurate about your target audience.

If you are very vast on how you run your Facebook ads placements, you will find out you are always getting direct interaction with the proper audience you targeted in the first place, that is the warm audience and not cold audience.

Well with this feature by Facebook which is called targeted advertisement, I don't think that anyone that isn't interested in a particular advertisement will pick interest on it when they are retargeted because once they have an interest in something they will definitely patronize it once it is advertised to them.

i didn't actually know about the existence of this feature called facebook pixel or that it tracks people, is it any free? if yes, then it'd be great

Facebook retargeting ads are ads that allow you to reconnect with users who have already interacted with your brand in some way (on or off Facebook). This includes users who have: Shared their email with you as leads or customers. Followed your Facebook Page or interacted with it in some way.

Really!?! The function of this pixel is it only effective on website that was linked with your Facebook account, can it work with the fb business page you created for your business.

I didn't know about this feature of Facebook in tracking the visitors to your website. Maybe that tracking code is attached to your site if you will avail of the paid ads in Facebook. Am I correct on my understanding? If that is the case then I would agree that it would be a good retargeting for the visitors of your site although the engagement is not guaranteed.

I don't really know the feature of Facebook regathering visitors in your website, I think when you link your account with Facebook or share your email.

One of the key to gettng a good convertion rate in facebook ad is to do your targeting very well,We had similar experience when we firts run our ad,and after sometime,we have to do a retargeting and the result was massive.

Facebook ads is one of the best type of ads currently on the internet circle. Retargeting ads is the best because it goes directly to the people who need the product you are promoting.

You are absolutely right about how easier it is to re target a warm customer to make him but again and the Facebook pixel provides a very effective way of doing such.

This is quite a good way for promotion but do you know how much it cost to have such tool installed in ones website ? Secondly , won't it be irritating to visitors when they keep seeing ads that they have seen sometimes ago.

I have heard of Facebook Pixel but I have never used myself. I am not a social media marketer, or a digital marketer in general, therefore, I do not know how Facebook Pixel actually helps us.

To me I think retargeting in marketing is a waste of time. What if you retarget and they still fail to patronise your business. You know that is a total waste of money in two ways

If you want to retarget in marketing you need to know that this people will actually be interested in your products and services, aside that it will just be as if you are wasting your time and money

Retargeting should never ever be joked with. That's where the big bucks lie. A lot of people are content with the few sales made at first. They leave big money on the table by not retargeting.
The question is, now that facebook has banned making this information available to advertisers, what next?

You are right. If Facebook is your main source, then it means you have a set target. Facebook book usually used by the young ones than the elderly

Many people are not yet aware of the kind of advertisement that is available on Facebook, they just think it's all about depositing and choosing a target audience but Facebook experts have been enlightening about retargetting that helps to meet the right audience.
