Reseller hosting is something like affiliate marketing, you earn a commission for reselling hosting. First of all, you need to buy a reseller hosting package from a web host. The package you bought comes with a certain number of hosting accounts. You can sell those hosting accounts for your own price. You can even brand your own hosting company and resell hosting. When you are reseling hosting, what you actually are doing is selling shared server space.
How much money you need to invest and how much can you earn?
How much money you need to invest depends on the kind of package you bought. The price of the package differs according to the companies, and according to the number of hosting accounts. For example, Nebula reseller hosting package on Namecheap costs about $20 per month. You get 25 hosting accounts with this package. Even if you resell these hosting accounts for just $1 per month, you will earn $5 profit.

Yes this is true. Different hosting platforms offer marketers the opportunity to market there domain and hosting platform for some commission and it's one of the best way to make money online. If you have a blog or website that's based on review, you can write review on each of the platform and put your refferal link there

Yeah it is a nice business idea and it is very flexible to earn money with Reseller Hosting Plans. They transfer “power to you” to start your own web hosting business and earn money thus. Just buy the plan from the hosting company and start your own business and make money online.

The only issue is that you need to know how to run a hosting service properly. The last thing that you want is to have a customer that is experiencing some problems who gets in touch with you and you can't offer any proper customer service. They will not be happy with the service and end up leaving a bad review.

It was quite a profitable business before but it can be difficult now because of the huge number of hosting companies out there competing withe ach other.

Reselling hosting can my you lots of money if things are done right. All you need to find a way to attract people that will buy hosting account from you. How can you do this? You can look for a tech magazine or newspaper and start setting about blogging. Submit different articles about blogging and stylist sell them you hosting account. If you content is quality and actionable people will buy hosting account from you.

In another thread I have mentioned the proliferation of hosting providers with a contract to the real hosting provider. I forgot the term and I thank you for posting this - Reseller of hosting. Our organization's first website was hosted by a reseller and I had no quarrel with it because the speed of access if just normal although it is slow in the late afternoon, owe it to the pool or users - that is one reason why we had to upgrade the package. Yes, a reseller of hosting earns good money if he could use all his accounts for valid customers.

You may try reseller hosting if you want, however, I don't think it is easy to resell hosting. It is difficult to compete with the existing big hosting provider as well as those small hosts who have theirnown servers. You might end up spending a lot of money on advertising with zero sales.

This information is very important and educative informative.
You can invest any amount depends on the kind of package you bought.

What you have said is very true. You can get started with reselling hosting for a small price and you can sell the hosting package from your own banner, however, this sounds easier than to be done. You might have to spend a lot of money on advertisement and might not make enough sales to recover your cost.

Reseller hosting is a good way to start your own hosting business without involving with server maintainence. All you need a website to sell the hosting. Rest of the things will be done by the company. But it is difficult to compete with big web hosts

I don't know about this kind type of affiliate marketing at all. A very good reason we have bizdustry here to open our eyes to a lot of things we don't know about

This art of hosting reselling is actually a good business strategy and I feel that I can do it in addition to my domain flipping business because I feel that it is not much different from it.

I have always wanted to try reseller hosting business for two reasons, one to host my websites, two to make additional money by reselling hosting accounts.
