Renting out a portion of your property, good or bad idea?

Would you ever rent out a portion of your property or a single room? I have thought about this in the past, and thought it would kinda be cool to rent out a room to someone. But is it a good or bad idea to do that? I would be inviting these guests into my own home, and renting a room there. Is it worth trying out?

I have seen this issue of person that owns a property who decided to rent part of their apartment to tennant,and what this friend does is that,he just partision the apartment and then rent the other part off.

It solely depends on the reason you're renting it out. Many landlord usually do that probably because they need money. Some people rent out a portion of the property because they don't want it to spoil or they want people around them

Especially if you are a bachelor I think this is a very good way of making some extra income because there is no point keeping some spaces when you know that you are not going to be using them.

There's nothing bad in it as far as you're comfortable with it. I know a lot of people who rent out a portion of their house and it's paying them. However, it's not everybody that like the idea of renting out a portion of their house.

I've seen people who do that when they own a large property such as a house and put up part of it which is not being used for rent so it doesn't remain empty.

You can still let out your apartment for additional source of income. It'll really be up to you because in the end, only you know much you've put in the work to earn extra as another sire plant.

That is actually a good way to get money for the property,because there will not be any form of value you will be getting by keeping the space vacant,rather it will be good to let it out.

Well there are people who engaged into estate purposely for renting purposes and sometimes as a bachelor who has no family yet, it won't be a good idea to occupied a large portion of your house alone. more preferable you rent it out.

I personally do not like the idea of renting of properties due to the many issues I have encountered previously with this type of business, there is always bound to be issues that would eventually arise.

You need to have a concrete agreement with whoever you are renting out your house to this is to avoid any unnecessary issues that might arise in the future as in most cases they are bound to happen

If the space is in excess, it is not bad to rent out the excess space. Instead of it just lying unoccupied, you could make money from it. The passive income you would get from that excess space can be helpful to you.

It is a very good business. I once lived in a house where the man had to rent out a portion of the house to me and some other people and he was making his money from that.

Renting out part of your properties most especially the ones you are not using is a good business that brings you money on a monthly basis , for example renting out some rooms in your apartment

Renting out a portion of your building is a good idea especially if the building is huge and you cannot occupy the whole house. Instead of allowing the building vacant and unoccupied, it is better to rent it out.

This is not so bad idea peaples might be interesting because it's cheaper and things like that however before renting it out you need to reasearch about the person that rents to avoid problems that can occur

Actually personally to me, Is not a bad idea but i will consider that as some best step to which will increase your income through renting.

There are several reasons why people rent out a small portion of there property sometimes it depends on demands.
