Ghost is a content management system just like wordpress. You use ghost to build different kinds of website just like you do woith wordpress. It is a not a hosting provider, it is a software to build website. Just like wordpress, it is open source, which means you can use it for free.

I was looking into Ghost at one point for a few projects. It looked very promising and I would also recommend people at least give it a look for their next idea.
