Ransomware and the scammers who peddle it

Have you guys ever dealt with ransomware? It's usually like malware, where it gets into you system and locks your PC up. It then asks you to call support to get your files back, to which you will be asked to pay money or go through hoops to get it fixed for a large fee. Anyway, when you get to the step of calling these scammers, it's always them trying to gain access to your PC and steal private info.

I wish there was a way to for sure stop these scammers. I love scam baiters for this reason, as they waste these scammers times so they can't hurt more people. Or at the least to slow them down some and hurt them where it hurts the most, and that's stopping their flow of money.
