What are some advantages? Also, do you prefer shared, VPS, dedicated, or reseller? How does your choice fit your needs?

I prefer resellers just so I can focus on my sites and content vs server maintenance. Shared hosting may be simple, but I just like reseller just in case the customer wants to access the control panel.

What do you call "premium hosting"?
I prefer (for many years) a VPS as it allows me much more control over what the site can do/offer when compared to most shared hosting (especially the cheap ones).
After over 3 decades dealing in computers (and with Linux since SlackWare was released in the early 1990's), I feel fairly comfortable administering my own server (whether on a VPS or dedicated hardware). Shared hosting has NO interest for me as in some aspects, I push FAR beyond what they offer.
