I been on one of the forum, to complete a package and it was really annoying as they ordered a large package and every time, I tried to post I had this message come up. you need to wait 60 seconds before posting again. Seriously I thought of giving up and telling the guy who ordered to change this rule until I finish or simply consider your package rejected. But I felt bad and continued as I did not want to upset them.

So do you get bored of forums that have these limitations and if they do, do you still post as a regular?

It is really annoying when you want to continue at your own pace and they make you wait for a period of time, no matter how short it is (60 seconds), it makes you desperate. In my case, I have been in similar places but I remain patient, out of responsibility and more when I feel comfortable in the place, in spite of the wait.

Very disheartening indeed to see such limitation imposed in a forum when I'm creating posts. That might make me not to visit regular to partake on discussion, until the forum owner do the needful to remove such limitations on its forum.

I have not experienced this on any forums that I participate. I don't know why the admin will have timer set on the site and allow posting only after he passage of some time. Maybe this is to avoid spamming.

It is annoying for sure but sometime it is necessary to avoid spammers or bots. Many sites implement this policy for 5 or 10 posts and once you hit that milestone you can posts without any limitation.

Limitations are set in order to keep people in check, when you allow people to keep posting every single second , people will start spamming the sites and keep posting rubbish, but I prefer a forum where you can post three to five post per hour and comes back the next hour to continue posting.
I think there should be orderliness in everything we do.

I find the limitation of seconds quite a bit. could put 10 seconds and he was also satisfied, and the user: D

Most of forums puts limitation 60 seconds so even if a spammer signup and starts spamming in an hour of posting when moderation is absent there is 60 spam messages but if 10 seconds it will be disturbing forum with 360 posts so this is reason of limitation to prevent forum is destroyed by spam while moderation team is absent and then to remove spam fast.

60 seconds is a pretty long period i would say, anything around 20 seconds should be fine to deal with, having a number of maximum posts someone can do could be better

Those things annoy me a lot, i don't like visiting such kind of forum sites that will put a hold before a make another post. That is bizarre I don't like such kind of limitations.

Well I don't get discouraged posting on this forum because most of these forums put this posting limitation to fight against copy and pasting of contents so I always adapt to it without getting frustrated with it.

Thanks to bizdustry, we do not have to go through the hassles of post limitations. It's really a restricting factor for me as I like to work in my own pace.

having a posting timer can be good because it stops spammers copying and pasting comments or the posters spamming the forum with one line posts.

If this forum will have a posting timer that will surely help us to recognise when next to post so we won't spend time away, thinking that our time haven't reached or starting before time.

These are making my effectiveness and zeal I would have had in working in such forums to become so diminished until I will eventually have to leave or stop posting on such site

It isn't encouraging when such message pop up whenever you are posting on forums. I have stumbled on one forum that demands you waite for 60s interval before you create threads

I don't really consider the limitations on any forum. However the administratior decides to run his forum is all up to him I can't decide I just have to play by the rules.

You got it right. I also believe that it is to avoid spamming. It is also a minimum time to make a quality post in a forum. Its because if there is no time then there are questions that are just answerable by yes or no and then in forum they will just answer in a single word of no or yes.

That upset, I love being on a forum where their is no timer limitation. Even if the reward stops at some point when I have reached my daily target but the posting shouldn't be locked.

Well sites with post limitations are my favorite because they help me to be able to migrate around different sites and be able to meet up to my target.
