Cannabis forums. Constructive criticism appreciated.

I have a few concerns.

I don't think you should enable ads until you start to grow more. It's off-putting for such a small and inactive community. It would stop me from joining if I had any interest in your niche.

Speaking of your niche, it's popular. I live in IL where it's legal. But your forum brand doesn't really speak Cannabis to me. The logo doesn't speak it. There is no visual indication of it. You need to add more branding to it. Visual branding.

There is an awful lot of space to scroll down through until you get to actually see the forum. At first, I kept doing New Posts and saw that there was only one post. You should work on removing that space or people will think the forum doesn't exist.

Is generally echo what Shawn has said about it not really saying "Cannabis" in the design. It's an interesting idea though, although you might have to be careful how it's marketed and that - cannabis is still very illegal in lots of places!

I'm sure this would be a great community but I see a lot of boards with 0 posts. Doing exchanges with members is a great way to get activity on your forum & be on others. The more forums you are on, the more you are seen around the forums, & then people would be more apt to join yours
