So I have been working on a small internet project of mine and been going around getting as much information as possible in order to better build it. The website will be quite unique but the things that I wish to implement in it all are easily available. So I was wondering is it better to just grab them from other places and place them on my website? Or even though it is time consuming try my best to code them up myself?

Which option do you think would be most secure?

Depends upon the kind of site and the kind of things you are talking about, but I believe it is better if you could use a service like Wordpress or any other script, it helps and a lot less work is required too.

I think that you should rather code them yourself as far as possible because if you take something from another website you can never be sure if there is no malware in them as well.

If you are hesitant to do coding. Try to build your website using tools and templates. It would be much easier and safer than copying someone else code. You will never know if they have embedded spam ware or malware in them.

That is definitely a much cheaper option and i think that there is a lot of tutorials that are out there in order to use the templates that these websites do offer for free.

I think you need to use what is already available and use your time and effort to market your site and generate revenue. Ultimately, it does not matter how you built it, what matters is traffic and revenue.
