phpBB in 2024

Who uses it? What mods and themes do you use? What comparison can you give with it to other software? How do you feel about phpBB these days?

I love how easy it is to install add-ons these days with phpBB. Gone are the days of those nasty codes and trying not to make any stuff ups.

I look forward to the many changes they'll do over the next few years.

It's mobile ready and has some good mods, but there isn't enough of them. Also, it's difficult to get paid mods. Is that true?

I have been running a forum on phpBB. Based on my experience with multiple forum source forum scripts, I find phpBB the hardest one to manage. However, this software has also an edge over other software for being responsive.
