Do you guys think penny stocks are good to invest in? I have heard about them somewhat but don't know if it's something I would ever invest in myself. Is there money to be made in penny stocks?

Penny stocks are stocks that trade at a relatively low price, typically below $5 per share. They are often associated with small companies and can be highly volatile and risky investments. Before investing in penny stocks or any investment, it's crucial to conduct thorough research, assess your risk tolerance, and consider diversification.

Thanks! I figure if I invest a small amount, it won't hurt too much. I don't intend to invest a lot, as I want to see how it works first. Thanks for the response, it was helpful! :)

Investing in penny stocks should be approached with caution. It's essential to conduct thorough research, diversify your investments, and be prepared for potential losses.

If you're new to investing or have a low risk tolerance, it's recommended that you focus on more established companies with a proven track record and greater market capitalization.

In our country, primary shares are priced at least 85 cents. You can buy these shares only when the IPO opens. Once the IPO closes, these shares start gaining value. However, sometimes instead of going up these shares start going down. The word penny stocks is not very popular here but people usually avoid investing in stocks that trading for less than the value given during the IPO. I don't buy these stocks.
