Payment - Just to Join the Forum

I couldn't imagine this working unless there was something incredibly valuable on the forum, and they would have to be well-aware of it. Well, I could imagine some celebrity pulling this off, because they have instant trust. Also, someone could be some guru from YouTube and people would believe that person.

You're right, I could only see this working if the person who opened the forum was a very popular person. Most people use Discord for this now days though, but heck if I ever did make it big on Youtube I would definitely go the forum route instead since they're better anyways.
