Paying for SEO services

Hey folks,

Has anyone here ever purchased an SEO service for their website? If so, how much was it and did it help out at all? Do you know how it worked exactly? Was it worth the cost in the end?

I haven't ever paid for SEO services because I haven't really had the need.


I also think with a little bit of research and practice, you can probably do it yourself, so why waste money?

Most paid SEO i see is mostly a backlink spamming service or something similar. I'd rather just do it myself, legitly!

Never paid for SEO services. I view most of them as scammy or they do techniques that Google will easily overcome.

I have paid for backlinks and social promotion. I was happy with social promotion as I was able to get social signals but most backlinks I received were through spammy sites, a lot of backlinks were bot generated. I bought SEO service on Fiverr.

I am decent with on-page and technical SEO. Off-page is something I would need some help with. Getting enough backlinks is a challenging task and is better handled by a team.

I would rather hire someone and instruct them how to do it than paying for backlinks whose quality I cannot be sure.
