What are the advantages and disadvantages of a purely web based (i.e. you do not know them in real life) partnership for a web business?

The advantage is to work with someone help each other out and such I love having partnerships

I preffer online partnerships rather then real life ones. I had a couple of real life ones and all of them went bad after a while.
Most of my long term online partnerships are still going great...

You have a really strong admin team running things, first of all. Then, you have the ability for one admin to do things the other admin sucks at, and vise versa. My co-admin(who is my business partner) is doing a ton of SEO for us, and I suck at that. He's not doing a lot of front-end running, as that's what I'm good at, and I'm absolutely fine with that.
