I have tried creating a forum on phpbb. That was a long time ago. Since I was going no where I had to shut it down. When I was using it I found it to be user friendly.

It is very nice for you to open a site today and it is very easy to do that I also want to have a forum there like you before but presently now I do not have a forum there anymore.

It is not easy to create a forum even if you are building a forum from forum scripts, a lot of work needs to be done for customization. and you will also have to spend a lot of money.

What are your opinions on phpBB3? Do you know anyone that uses it? What were your previous experiences using it?
PhpBB is a good free forum platform. Sometimes I don't know which one to choose among phpBB and mybb. But still on still it is good forum script like xenro

I have tried PhpBB3 previously and it looks a good for administration for create a forum where you can spread daily tutorials and some referral links and bring members to your forum with ForumOtion. They have nice themes where you can install to your forum using HitSkin.

I prefer running a blog site than running a blog, but I guess some people prefer forums, it's a case of individual differences

From what I understand from phpBB3 it is a software one can use in creating forums, from reviews I have seen, it is actually secure, but If care is not taken, as the site owner you could end up permitting insecure files

Recently, I was adding ad management mod on my phpbb forum and the forum started showing error, the site was not accessible even to the admin. I had to restore the forum from backup.
