myBB or phpBB

Which forum software are you more fond of; MyBB or PhpBB? To be honest, MyBB is more formal, and PhpBB is more for an enterprise. Both forum softwares are very professional, along with the amount of details and options they offer.

I like MyBB. I would use MyBB over PhpBB. What about you?

MyBB all the way. I would be reluctant to ever touch phpBB as long as MyBB is an option, to be honest. MyBB looks and feels great. It also has a great selection of themes and plugins, both free and premium, that phpBB just cannot compete with. It helps that it has a large community behind it as well which means you can usually get support for any problems pretty quickly.

phpBB stills the best website because it is popular and you can find all what you need and there is more theme compatible with phpBB than myBB.

For me MyBB is better forum CMS as it is easy to manage and good for new forum owner and comes with more features and themes so you can always make attractive forum look. Easy to upgrade and open source which makes them better to handle.

Since I have never owned a forum, I have never tried any of these forum scripts. based on my experience of using forums, I can say xenforo is really good, it is easy to use and really fast. I cannot speak about mybb or phbb.

PhPBB or MyBB could be professionnal as the real value of a forum is his content and not the software that you are using to manage your forum.

I have experimented with both forum scripts, but my experience was short lived and I cannot remember which of these forum scripts is good for running a forum.
