Hey everyone

I was wondering what your take might be on having a number of various styles for your board. On my site i have probably a dozen of different choices a user can choose from.

Do you think it is bad to have more than one style? Discuss!

A properly designed theme is how your 'brand' is looking online. Just as you don't see Nike have 5 logos, the same with a forum: you have a GOOD theme, that was created especially for your forums and it's professional and original, so you don't need more than one. Better have one excellent theme than 20 bad ones :)

This whas kind of hwat I was thinking. I used to get complaints about how the board should have more choices, so I implemented this as such. But when i view the stats in the ACP, well... not a whole lot gets used

I think one light and one dark theme go a long way compared to just one theme. People have their own preferences, I do agree with Dojo that strengthening your brand is very important, but let's say you have a light colored theme and someone doesn't care for it. A darker theme as a back up that looks similar but a different color scheme would be nice for them and several other members. A forum is about having a nice community and thriving, appealing to both preferences is the way to go.
