Mult-site Wordpress Websites

Wordpress has a feature which allows you to create multiple websites. You can manage all these websites from the same dashboards. For instance if you create a multi site website mywebsite.com, you can create mywebsite.com/site1, mywebsite.com/site2, etc. If you want to create a wordpresss website where yo allow multiple users to create their own website on the directory, this is a good feature. Have you used this feature?

I have seen this feature, it is one big hit wp cms uses to outrank it competitors but just decided to turn it off since it will need a server with much storage and bandwidth.
