How do you motivate your members to post?

Obviously the admins/staff can't be the only ones to do the posting and thread creations, but members won't do it either if they're not motivated. What are some ways that work best for you to get your members engaged and wanting to come back and post more?

Posting has to seem fun to members. Things like contests and awards help. There really isn't some "fool-proof" way to encourage it. Really you just need to create a atmosphere for your members.

You have to offer something in return when members for members to post on your forum. I offered free advertising. Members could advertise there YouTube videos and receive free feedback from other members on how to improve there content. This is what motivated users to post on my old forum.
