Most saturated forum niche?

Out of the probable hundreds of thousands of probable forum niches, which one would you say is the most crowded out of all of them?

For myself, I would say the current trend seems to be more towards promotional/admin forums. For what reason, I do not know but I am seeing more and more be made each day and sometimes I just wish it would stop, haha.

I agree with you about the admin and promotion forums but I think they can all succeed if they offer something new and different to the other forums in their niche. Lets take Forum Hour for example, I think could it turn out extremely well in the long run as it it striving forward each day and with the way it is going it wouldn't suprise me if it turned out to be one of the biggest promotion forums in the future.

Forums about running forums...

We need some more creative niches. The problem is that very few care about forums unless they are about computers, video games, or tech support. The other niches have grown incredibly stale and underused.

I can agree with you, promotional forums are becoming one of the over saturated forum niches.

General talk forums, imo. It's already saturated, and its worse when they are empty. (Not saying all of them are, though)

Promotion, general discussions and anime. forums.
I guess promotion forums is the trend since past two years. Hope this stopped.
I also hate seeing the same people on every forum, discussing same topics
