Logging in without posting

Why do you think certain members login to forums but never post?

They are always reading and hardly ever interacting?

What would make them want to chat more and make posts?

Sometimes I do it just because I am limited on time and want to have a look around, if you're replying that limits what you can look at in a short period of time. I'll come back and reply later when I have the time.

Sometimes I do it here to see if there's any responses to staff threads. Sometimes I don't feel like posting in all forums.

I cannot say about other people, but when I log in the forums and do not post, it is usually to check any new developments on the forum, or read notifications.

Sometimes to reply to a thread to avoid any duplication you find what you are thinking to post as a reply was already posted by another member before you and then if anyone thinks reply without reading previous replies there will be a lot of duplicate content which issue warning and then sometimes ban when acquire a number of warning, it is not like participating on a facebook where there is no quality post required, this is why sometimes login without post.
